Osmonkallio civil defence shelter

Introduction

During indoor season, the club's training facility is a civil defence center in address Ainonkatu 1. In order the get into shelter, press TJA's button in the door phone at the right side of the main door. Please note that door's lock lets only a small click when it opens, no other sound can be heard. The shelter is in TJA's use from morning to evening every day, but you can get in most likely during 17-19 at weekdays. Please check also club's calendar to see when somebody should be in the track e.g. due course.

The shelter has 4 different archery ranges:

• Small cave: 5 and 10 meters for about 8 archers at the same time.
• Across the main cave: 5 meters for about 12 archers at the same time.
• Narrow cave: 18 and 25 meters for about 3 archers at the same time.
• Main cave: 5, 18, 30, 50 ja 70 meters for about 12 archers at the same time. Longer ranges may exclude use of shorter ones at the same time.

Note! Google Maps does not show correct location for Ainonkatu 1. It is placed to nearby apartment house instead of the passage to civil defence center,

Parking

Parking facilities are limited in the area, especially directly in front of the entrance to shelter. However, usually there are at least few free places in Peltokatu and Kullervonkatu. In addition there are also typically free places in vicinity of Tammelantori during evening. Please remember to use the parking disc when necessary.
